Who owns my book?
When you publish your book with us you retain the copyright. Upon signing the publishing contract you grant Hamwic permission to publish your work, but you own the copyright and hold full intellectual rights to your work.

Permissions - Can I include other people's work in my book?
If you need to use figures, maps, etc., or extracts of text from another source, or from someone else's work that is subject to copyright, then you must seek the copyright holder's written permission to use the work. In all cases, it is the author's responsibility to both seek the permissions and provide the publisher with copies of the copyright holder's permission. You may be charged a fee for the use of such material by the copyright holder, or you may be lucky enough to be given free use, in both cases you will be required to quote the source of the material within your book.
